Gamers can create their own team from the backyard kids and the kid versions of the pros. These pros include Alex Rodriguez, Carlos Delgado, Alfonso Soriano, Eric Gagne, Pedro Martinez, Vladamir Guerrero, and Ichiro. The game also includes extra unlockable players like Sammy Sosa and Jime Thome as well as all 30 Major League Baseball logos. BACKYARD SPORTS BASEBALL 2007 includes several different modes of play, including quick games, seasons, home run challenges, and a fielder’s challenge. Players can sel which field they play on and even adjust some rules and options. Season play also includes full stats and standings, allowing players to get an idea of where each of their players stands in relation to the others. Of course, no BACKYARD game would be complete without those wacky power ups that players can grab on the field.
